EASTER FUN!!!

My Daddy told me that the Easter Bunny wasn't going to come because I was 12 and he stops coming at the age of 12. So I was expecting NOTHING!!! I woke up walked out of my from and some eggs on the stairs and to my left. Waiting to know when I can start finding eggs I climbed in bed with my mommy because she was a wake and my dad was in the shower. I asked my mom if could go wake up my brother (because I LOVE the competion) so pretty much I tortured him till he woke up :). He FINALLY woke up after I gave up on him. After the BIG hunt I looked on the dinning table to what should my eyes appear a lil Webkinz White Terrier. I LOVE EASTER!!!. I named her Amanda. I think was a pretty good Easter for expecting nothing :).

The Best Brother EVER!

Today unfortunately started out well dull. My parents went to Kingston and left Jonathan and I home alone. Now usually this isn't the smartest idea if you look at our past. Let's just say lot's of injuries for both of us.Well today I wanted to go to McDonald's for there outstanding, delicious cinnamon melts so after the begging and pleading finally he caved we went and strange enough he asked me what new game do you want for the D.S I said I don't want a new I want a new Webkinz. Not that there is anything wrong with the ones I have. He said O.K we'll go to (meaning we'll walk to) Toys R us and get you one I said "NO thank you I don't want to walk all the way over there". I said the closest place that sells Webkinz is PHARMAPLUS(or save I don't remember but it's where Crabby Joe's and the Scotia Bank are and Fabric land!) He said ok we will go there then seeing it is on the way home any way. After a looooonnngggg argument I said fine we will go! ( the only reason why I was saying no is because I didn't want him spending money on me!) He let me look for the one I want while he wondered to see if he would like to purchase anything and sure enough he found something! He came to me and said " Wow am sure glad we came here look what I found it's the Nascar magazine that Poppy has that I wanted". Then he was trying to convince me to let him buy me two Webkinz. In the end I got the Panda(who I called Samantha) and he got his Magazine. You're probably thinking oh now I know why it's because he bought her something I thought I was going to need glasses there for a second. No it's because he took the time out of his day to spend it with his sister. And also it was just nice to see him not be so GRUMPY for a change : ). Getting the Panda was just a perk! And don't worry I thanked him ALOT!

Hero of the Day....

"No man is free if he fears death. But the minute you conquer the fear of death, at that moment you are free. ... I submit to you that if a man hasn't discovered something he will die for he isn 't fit to live!"

Cassie Bernall had marked this passage from a book she was reading. She wanted to share it with her youth group at West Bowles Community Church that night. But Cassie never made it to that meeting. On the morning of April 20, 1999 this Columbine High School senior was put to the ultimate test of her faith.

It was lunch time, and Cassie was studying in the library when two classmates stormed inside, armed with guns and pipe bombs. They began firing on helpless and terrified students. Cassie was praying when one of the gunman approached her. He pointed the gun at her head.

"Do you believe in God?" he asked, he's eyes blazing with rage.

She paused for a few seconds, as if considering what to say.

"Yes" she answered.

"Why?" the teenage gun man asked her.

But he did not give her a chance to respond. He pulled the trigger.

Cassie was one of 12 students killed at the Littleton, Colorado , school when two students went on a shooting rampage, turning Columbine into the site of the worst school masscre in U.S history!

Her simple profession of faith has made Cassie a modern-day martyr.(Marty is a person who dies for his or her convictions.) Two days before her death , Cassie had participated in a video which teens in her church shared their belief in Jesus Christ.

"I just try to not contradict myself, to get rid of all the hypocrisy and just live for Christ" she said

Cassie was not a super hero Christian. She was an ordinary person with real problems. During her troubled teen years, she tried drugs and alcohol and even dabbled witchcraft. She experienced depression, rejection, and anger. It wasn't until she attended a youth retreat that she understood how valued she was in God's eyes. Once Cassie became a Christian, she was eager to share that love, and her faith in Christ gave her confidence to face both life and death courageously.

Maybe you think you would be afraid to take the bold stand that Cassie made. But the Lord will give you strength to stand up for what is right, even then making that stand may cost your life. The Apostle Paul said that he considered what he gained in Christ worth more than everything else he had in the world, including his very life. That's the kind of power and passion God will give you.
