Grass Hopper Trouble!

Today this kid named bobby ( a foolish grade eight who is an idiot!) went to go feed our class pet lizards ( don't ask) so he thought it would be funny to ummm... let them explore out side their box! Yes! you guessed it he dropped the box of grass hoppers and possibly crickets on the class room floor all the girls ( including me) screamed at the sight of them we ran out of the classroom and some how ended up back in the class room ( teacher). Well of course Bobby made no effort to find them all and just snatch the ones he could see so ya had to be careful I wouldn't be surprised if I found one in my bag right now!

Well some of you are probably like right now what a wimp can't even handle a few grass hoppers loose so I went on line and found some facts about our unexpected classmate!

Grasshoppers as food

In many places around the world, grasshoppers are eaten as a good source of protein. In Mexico for example chapulines are used as a snack or filling.

Raw grasshoppers should be eaten with caution, as they can contain tapeworms.^[1]

Little Hoops in the making!

As some of you may know my 1 of my favourite sports is basket-ball. If not, well, now you know. Anyway I was able to sign up for Little Hoops (@ Cenntenial). I can't wait it is going to be so much fun!!! It will be on Tuesday nights. - Well b-bye!

Random!!!

I have no clue what to write about, so most of it is probably going to be random to you. My brother's friends came over and well, they're very weird. I love Webkinz. Today I made a tape bookmark. We played silent seat ball! Buses were canceled but I went to school anyway!!! Well that's probably the most randomness that you can handle in a day (or pretty much all I can think to say ) Well...peace out!!!

Webkinz Addicted

My parents say that I'm addicted to Webkinz and well I guess I'd have to agree with them but it's better than me spending all that money on webkinz things and not even going on it well if you don't know what webkinz are you either a) don't have kids or b) have been living under a rock for a while - Well c ya

A dull dull day

Today their was skiing and I didn't go because I am going in Feb. ( we have two ski trips a year). So I went on Webkinz all day on the computer. I only had one period of work which was making a title page. Any way Allison is very annoying anyway it was pretty fun so I guess I could call it a lazy day but I chose to call it " A very DULL DULL Day "

Head over heels

The other day Savannah gave me these high heel boots. They are beige, zippy, boot heels. Let's just say the high part of high heel really says it all with this boot!!! I'm not the best at walking in them!!!

Savannah came over tonight and we had nothing to do so we decided to do a photoshoot here are some pics of them!!!

Fashion 411 (PART II)

Today Allison and I went to the mall and pretty much she would bye anything I said looks good on her. And get this she didn't even have a wallet we had to go searching for one but since I know the mall so well I knew where a wallet would (and for a good price). I got a very cute shirt and skirt to go together (it was @ La Senza Girl) the shirt was $3.50 and the skirt was $3.50 too. I also got a pink baby doll shirt with a pink necklace and I got a lace baby blue cami with a polo t-shirt. I got a webkinz ( husky) then we went to the movies ( Alvin and the Chipmunks). All in all it was a awesome day!!!!

The Fashion 411

This weekend I am going shopping with my dear friend Allison. I will be helping her in her fashion decisions. I will be known as her " Fashion Consultant" ( pretty much her answer to her fashion prayers). After we will go to see " Alvin and the Chipmunks" to show off our beauty of course. I'm Bored!!!

The Sewing Adventure (Part 1)

Today my mother and I went to Fabric Land. And trust me it was interesting, exhausting, and most of all fun! It started out normal we walked ( this was my second time going) we looked at the books (for a very long time) finally my mom stopped looking in the not- easy- to-sew section and I picked out what I wanted to make. For a while now I have been wanting to make clothes I have books and books full of designs and pictures of clothes. I want to be a fashion designer wen I GROW-UP. Anyway once we had the pattern I had to go look for the fabric. We asked a lady who worked there ( Jane as her name tag said) She wasn't the most happy person there. So finally after alooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg search for the right fabric. Pretty much the right fabric was right price. It is black with pink flowers on it! So we go up to pay for it and we make change till the very last penny! Finally we get home now all we need is someone who knows how to sew!!!
